U.S.·

Recent body camera footage has revealed the moment the U.S. Coast Guard Investigative Service confiscated Brian Hooker's sailboat, named 'Soulmate,' while it was in transit from the Bahamas to the United States during May.
This footage emerges amidst a multi-month inquiry into the vanishing of Lynette Hooker, who went missing in April during a vacation in the Bahamas with her husband, Brian Hooker.
Reports indicated her disappearance on April 4, occurring as she boated with her husband near Elbow Cay in the Abaco Islands.
Investigation into Disappearance
Mr. Hooker has consistently stated that his wife accidentally fell from a small boat, a dinghy, at night and was subsequently carried away by currents. As of now, Lynette Hooker's remains have not been located.
Last month, the U.S. Coast Guard deployed to the Bahamas, undertaking a dive operation in the Sea of Abaco and a ground search utilizing a cadaver detection dog in an effort to uncover any evidence pertaining to Lynette's whereabouts.
Upon their return to the U.S., they brought back the dinghy last associated with Lynette, which investigators plan to meticulously examine for potential leads.
A close family friend, also acting as an advocate for Lynette, characterized her as an individual consistently supportive and present for those around her.
Status of Brian Hooker and Ongoing Search
Since his return to the U.S., following initial questioning and release by Bahamian authorities, Brian Hooker has remained out of public view and has not been heard from.
Currently, Brian Hooker faces no criminal charges nor has he been formally accused of any misconduct.
