Authorities in New Jersey are currently investigating the homicide of a psychotherapist discovered fatally stabbed inside her residence last month. Brooke Hanlon, 35, a mother and resident of Chester, was found deceased on June 6, prompting an active search for her killer.
Hanlon was known professionally as a psychotherapist, with her practice located in Bernardsville. Investigators have not yet publicly identified any suspects in connection with her death.
Investigation Details Emerge
The Morris County Prosecutor's Office confirmed the nature of her death, stating, "An examination by the Morris County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be multiple sharp force injuries and the manner of death as homicide."
Social media posts from December of the previous year show Hanlon with her husband and a baby, providing a glimpse into her personal life.
In an effort to gather critical information, Morris County Crime Stoppers has announced a $1,000 reward. This incentive is offered to anyone who can provide details that lead to an arrest in the case.
The investigation remains active and ongoing as law enforcement works to bring the perpetrator to justice.
